This series of images titled ‘The Joy Project’ was a university brief focusing on personal joy and positivity post pandemic. I shot, styled and directed three shoots focusing on different themes of happiness. Including a personal shoot with my family illustrating my happy place, as well as one themed on self expression and make-up artistry and the third focusing on happiness within nature and the impact of the outdoors on mental health. The aim of these shoots was to tell individuals stories and capture true happiness.
